INSTALLING AND USING THE E-FILING CHROME EXTENSION
e-Filing is an add-on module that allows you to quickly populate form data into the USCIS, Department of State, and Department of Labor websites. Only certain forms can be e-filed. This is controlled by government agencies.

Installing the eimmigration e-Filer extension

Visit this link to go to the eimmigration e-Filer extension in the Chrome Web Store.

Click the 'Add to Chrome' button to add the extension to your browser.
- You'll see a pop-up dialogue box asking for permission to add 'eimmigration e-Filer.' Click the 'Add extension' button.

You can also pin the extension, once it's added to your browser. This will allow you to access it quickly.

Using the eimmigration e-Filer to file a form
Step 1. Schedule a form for e-filing.

Log in to your eimmigration account.

Open the case that you're working on and go to the Forms for that case.

Click the 'Lock' icon to lock the form.
- Then click 'Schedule' to schedule the form for e-filing. This will ensure that it's available when you launch the e-Filer extension.

Depending on the form, you may see a dialogue box labeled eFiling Miscellaneous Fields asking you to confirm the data you're about to load onto the e-Filer.

- If this box pops up, click 'Next.' Confirm or edit the data displayed. Then click the 'Save and Schedule' button.

The form status will update to 'Scheduled' and the form will be available for e-filing.

Step 2. Launch the e-filer.

When you're ready to e-file a form, click on the extension and sign in to the e-filer.

A panel will open on the right side of your browser window.

Enter your website name into the Website Name field.
- NOTE: Your website name is the portion of your site URL that is unique to your organization. For example, if your site URL is https://www.eimmigration.com/LAWFIRMABC, then your website name would be LAWFIRMABC. You can also locate this information in the Tools > eFiling section in your eimmigration system.

After you click Login, you'll be asked for your eimmigration credentials. Enter your username and password. Then click 'Login' again.

Step 3. Select the form you want to file.
- Once you're logged in, you'll see a list of all scheduled forms.

Find the form you wish to e-file, and click the Form number. You can also use the search box to find a form by form number, case number, or case party.

Your Chrome browser will redirect you to the government website for the form you wish to e-file.
- You may need to log in to the government site or complete a Captcha to access the site.

In most cases, you'll be asked to read instructions. You may also be asked to answer a security question. You'll need to complete these steps to proceed.

Step 4. Populate the data from the form to the government website

Once the form appears on the government website, click the play button at the top of the eimmigration e-Filer.

- The e-Filer extension will populate the data one field at a time.

When the data populating from the first page, the extension will display a 'Population Done' message just below the play button. You can then click the play button again to move to the next page, and repeat that process.

Once you've finished e-filing the form, click the 'Select' menu next to the form you just e-filed. Then click on 'Complete.'

You'll be prompted to enter a Reference Number.
- Enter the Reference Number and click the 'Mark as Complete' button. Once you do this, the form will no longer appear in the e-Filer.

You can go back to the Forms section for that case to see the 'Completed' status, along with the completion date and reference number.
- You will also have an option to reschedule the form if it needs to be filed again.
