GIVING CLIENTS ACCESS TO YOUR SYSTEM

- From the Client's profile, click on the Client-Access tab.
- From the screen below, you can select your client's Login Name, their password (or have it generate automatically), when their access is set to expire (leave empty to never expire), as well as a watermark to appear on printed forms. When done, click Create.
- Once you click create, the page will refresh any you will then see an 'Email Credentials' button. Once you click that a pop-up will appear which will allow you to Email account details to your client. You will notice that the user name and password are in brackets, these brackets will auto fill when the client receives the Email. When ready, simply enter your client's Email address, as well as any comments, and click the Email button.
- From the client-access tab, you also have the ability to provide additional access rights to your client, provided you have the optional modules in question.
- If you have the billing module, you can provide access to view invoices (and therefore make payments, if you have the credit card processing module as well).
- If access to billing is enabled, you can choose to enable/disable your client's ability to deposit funds into their trust account. For our trust account article, click here.
- If you have the custom reports module, you can provide access to shared reports.
- If you've set up client-access for a business client, you can provide the ability for the employer to send questionnaires to their employees.
- If you have the Case Initiation module, you can provide the business client with the ability to initiate a case.
- If you have access to the Acuity Scheduling module, you can provide clients with the ability to schedule an appointment in your Acuity calendar.
- If you have the SMS module, you can allow your clients to send you SMS messages.
- If you have the billing module, you can provide access to view invoices (and therefore make payments, if you have the credit card processing module as well).
