1. Overview
The eimmigration CBP Importer (“the Extension”) is provided by Cerenade and is designed to help users retrieve official I-94 and travel history information from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) website and import those results into their client’s profile in eimmigration.
The Extension fills CBP search fields with user-approved client data, retrieves available CBP results, and securely sends them back to the user’s eimmigration account.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary for the Extension to perform its intended functions:
Authentication information
An authentication token from your eimmigration/eCMS account, stored in your browser’s local storage.
This token is used solely to verify your session and allow the Extension to communicate with eimmigration/eCMS without requiring repeated logins.
Session information
Temporary authentication details used during the login process, stored in Chrome’s session storage.
These assist with completing the login flow for the Extension but expire automatically.
Client search data
Client information retrieved from your eimmigration/eCMS account (such as name, date of birth, passport number, etc.) that is required to perform CBP searches.
This data is used only to populate CBP’s official search form and is not stored permanently by the Extension.
CBP results
When CBP returns an I-94 or travel history record, the Extension temporarily holds the result long enough to import it into the client’s profile in eimmigration.
The Extension does not store CBP records long-term.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected solely to:
- Authenticate your account on eimmigration.com / myecms.com.

- Import CBP results into the corresponding client profile in eimmigration.
We do not:

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Your information is shared only:

-
With CBP only to populate their official I-94 or travel history search form exactly as if you entered the data manually.
- If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Data Storage and Retention
-
Local storage: login URL and session token are stored in your browser’s extension storage until you clear it or uninstall the extension.
-
CBP data: CBP results are held only long enough to import them into eimmigration and are not retained afterward.
-
6. Security
We use HTTPS for all communications between the Extension and our servers. Authentication credentials are transmitted securely and are not stored by the extension. Remote JavaScript retrieved from our own servers is served over HTTPS and is owned and controlled by us.
7. User Control
You can:
- Remove stored data at any time by clearing the Extension’s data in Chrome settings.
- Uninstall the Extension at any time to stop all data collection.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with the updated effective date.
