CREATING A CUSTOM FILING CENTER

Entering USCIS receipts can be done from the case profile>documents>notices tab. eimmigration populates its receipt data from various filing center websites. However, there are some situations where the online USCIS data available does not match what the various filing centers are accepting OR there is a filing center that is not available. In these situations you can create a non-trackable receipt entry by creating a custom filing center. To utilize this feature, please do the following:

 

  1. Navigate to Administrative Tools.
  2. Click on the Custom Filing Centers.
  3. Click Add Custom Filing Center.
  4. Enter the Filing Center Name, and click Save.
  5. Log in to the Caseworker portal, open a case, click documents, then click Notices. Click Add Notice.
  6. From the Filing Center drop down, scroll to the bottom and you will find the filing center that was created in the steps above.
